Copenhagen

Morning free. City and Harbour Tour of Copenhagen with a local guide. In the afternoon embark the cruise ship for Oslo, Norway. Depart at 5 pm. Enjoy your dinner as we sail from Copenhagen towards the capitol of Norway, Oslo.

Day 4, Monday June 18

Oslo (Norway)

Arrive Oslo at 9 am. City tour with a local guide. Includes the Opera building, The Royal Palace, Stortinget (the Parliament), Akershus fortress, Vigeland sculpture park, Holmenkollen ski jump arena, Bygdøy penninsula with the Viking ship musem and Norsk Folkemusem. After lunch check into our downtown hotel. Afternoon free. Dinner at the hotel at night.

Day 5, Tuesday June 19

Oslo – Lillehammer – Geiranger

We check out of the hotel after breakfast and start our journey to the fjords of Norway. In Lillehammer we will stop and take a look at the city from the top of the ski jump arena during the Olympics in -94. We keep on driving north through Gudbrandsdalen. Lunch on your own en route. Arrive Geiranger late afternoon. Check into Union Hotel and enjoy a fantastic dinner buffet, overlooking one of the most famous fjords in the world, Geirangerfjord. 

Day 6, Wednesday June 20

Geiranger – Trollstigen - Molde

We start the day with a fjord cruise on Geirangerfjord, one of two Norwegian fjords on the UNESCO World Heritage List. After the cruise, we depart Geiranger driving the Eagles Road. We will also drive Trollstigen (The Troll Path), before we arrive Molde in the afternoon. Dinner at the hotel.

Day 7, Thursday June 21

Molde – Atlanterhavsvegen – Kristiansund – Oppdal

After breakfast we’ll drive north towards Kristiansund on Atlanterhavsvegen, “The Atlantic Highway”. The British newspaper Guardian listed this road as the best road trip in the world. Lunch on own in Kristiansund. Arrive Oppdal late in the afternoon. Dinner at the hotel.

Day 8, Friday June 22

Oppdal – Trondheim – Oppdal

Today we’ll take a daytrip to Trondheim,Norway’s third biggest city. A local guide will take us on a city tour, which includes Nidaros Cathedral, the biggest cathedral in Norway. Lunch in the Tyholt Tower, which has the only rotating restaurant in Norway. 243 ft above ground you’ll have a nice view of Trondheim while you enjoy your lunch (on your own). After lunch we will drive down to the harbor where we will do a sightseeing by boat of the Trondheim Harbour. Return to Oppdal. Dinner at the hotel.

Day 9, Saturday June 23

Oppdal – Tynset – Mora (Sweden)

Today we will do an early start. It’s our last day in Norway, and we will start driving east towards Sweden. Lunch stop en route. Arrive Mora by the beautiful Siljan Lake in early afternoon. We check into our hotel, and go back to enjoy one of the biggest celebrations in Sweden: Mid Summer (Midsommar). Dinner at the hotel.

Day 10, Sunday June 24

Mora – Stockholm

After breakfast we’ll check out and drive towards Swedens capitol and biggest city, Stockholm. Arrive Stockholm in the afternoon. Dinner at the hotel.

Day 11, Monday June 25

Stockholm

City tour Stockholm in the morning. Afternoon free to explore Stockholm on your own. Farewell dinner at the hotel.

Day 12, Tuesday June 26

Morning free. Check out from the hotel and transfer to Stockholm Airport Arlanda, for our return flight back to the USA. Arrive USA late afternoon or early evening.
